FirstCut Media is a short-form video production company. This policy applies to information submitted through our job application form at firstcutmedia.com.
When you apply for a position, we collect only what you provide: your Discord username or email, the country you work from, an optional portfolio link, and a link to your sample video. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any other personal identifiers unless you voluntarily include them in the links you share.
Your information is used solely to evaluate your application for employment at FirstCut Media. It is never used for marketing, advertising, or any purpose outside of the hiring process.
Access to application data is strictly limited to the founder of FirstCut Media and designated hiring staff. No other employees, contractors, or third parties have access to your submission.
Applications that are rejected are automatically removed from our active systems 7 days after the rejection decision and moved to a restricted archive that only hiring staff can access. Applications for candidates who are hired or under active consideration are kept only as long as necessary for the hiring process. You can request full deletion at any time.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your information with any third party. Ever. Your submission stays between you and FirstCut Media.
Application data is stored securely in Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Supabase's infrastructure complies with industry-standard security practices.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any information you have submitted. To exercise any of these rights, contact us on Discord or reach out through the contact method listed on our job posting.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our application form after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
